Nina Teicholz's The Big Fat Surprise

From time to time, a wonderful non fiction agent colleague/friend reaches out to Elixir to help with a book cover.

This one was especially joy-filled for us…while we had heard for many years from a few holistic medical doctors and friends that mainstream ideas about the four food groups were flat out wrong, we do not find conspiracy theories entertaining or demonizing anyone ok. That being said, any honest human could have told you that butter sure seemed better for human consumption than margarine…the same way that drinking water out of glass is preferable to drinking it of plastic. Suffice it to say that the author Nina Teicholz wrote an epic page turner of a book — conveying a true story that desperately needed to be told. Elixir was challenged with making a cover that was a fast read…. So while Jen hoped the word BIG might be in butter and the word FAT might be spelled in bacon, the roast with halo was the combination that made the cut.
