We started with a landing page that pays tribute to the heart of Stanlee’s work—bringing people together—and assembled a sweeping video collage of celebrations and gatherings from all over.
Stanlee is known for his bold use of color: events often have a very strong theme, resulting in striking photography. We carefully selected only a handful of images for each event—a daunting task when you consider the breadth and beauty of Stanlee’s events throughout his career.
In order to allow each event to truly pop, the website portfolio grid is a restrained black and white, with the colors shining through on hover.
